“Very good, reliable service. I was about 20 miles away from their shop in Monroeville, OH, on US-2, when my center bearing on my Volvo 670 fell apart. They took my call at 3 a.m. Saturday morning, and the service truck showed up within an hour. Good-equipped truck and professional tech. Took him two hours to change it on the ground from his arrival until the truck was completely done and I got the invoice. You can spend much more time in a shop for the same job, and these people did it on the shoulder. Very good tech. Price-wise, it cost me $478 for the service call, labor, and mileage, which, I think, is a reasonable price for the road service. So I was able to get back on the road within three hours of calling them. Great job. Thank you.”
“I had a starting problem with my diesel RV CAT 3126. I made an appointment to have the oil/fuel filters changed at Wades. I was afraid that by mistakenly leaving the fuel cap off, I had introduced some rain water into the tank. The oil/fuel filter change did help, but it did not solve the problem. The manager that day spent several hours reading codes and checking the fuel system on my RV (in between a barrage of inbound phone calls), a Herculean effort. The codes revealed a possible O-ring failure on an injector and/or the HEUI pump. But they noticed that the engine always started if it sat for five minutes or was cold. They recommended I drive it home to the West Coast. I did so, with no problem. They charged me a very modest charge for the oil/fuel filter change and lube. There was no charge for the diagnosis. Being on the road (at that time for 28 days), the considerations in billing were a big thing to me, and I cannot thank them enough.”

Their rates are extremely reasonable, and the diesel techs are very efficient, knowledgeable, and do not seem to stand around and guess on things. “My diesel truck would not start in Sandusky, OH, in negative-10-degree weather. Wades was there within 25 minutes. Thankfully, I did not freeze. He quickly diagnosed the engine and repaired it. The batteries on my truck were low. He let me sit in his truck with good heat. Once the motor was running, he determined that the air compressor on the brakes froze. He fixed that, also. Keep in mind it was negative-10 degrees, windy, and snowing at 2:25 a.m. He even offered to follow me to make sure the truck was running right. Highly recommended. Fair price for terrible working conditions. I could not do it! Nice job, Wades!”

I had a fuel leak on the fuel line that went from the fuel transfer pump to the left side of the secondary fuel filter housing. I took some pictures of the line & the fitting so they knew what to bring. Jake came out to my location, he had a wonderful personality.
